Pool Halls Or Blow-Up Dolls: What Is The Best Location For Your Buddy’s Bachelor Party?

The Bachelor Party, similar to the best mans speech, is mostly a traditional part of a wedding. The classic reasoning for a bachelor party is to celebrate the Groom’s final night as a “free” guy. This reasoning can take on a whole spectrum of interpretations.  Make sure you are very clear on what the Groom expects when planning his bachelor party. You probably know him more than a lot of people, so if he’s the kind of guy that doesn’t particularly delight in strippers and keg stands, he probably won’t enjoy it any more now.

Whatever you plan for the bachelor party is open to a whole realm of possibilities. Bachelor parties hold the reputation of being drenched in alcohol and populated by a crowd of strippers, but this doesn’t apply to all men. Once again, make sure you know what the Groom has in mind. If he prefers to spend the night playing pool and drinking beer, don’t rent out a huge party house with a topless completely female staff and a team of bartenders.

You want to make sure you spend some time planning if you want to throw the Groom an awesome party. Select a good date; a weekend is probably your best bet. Find a good place to hold it, whether it’s a VIP room in a restaurant or you’re renting out a whole club. Make a guest list, and be sure to communicate with these people enough time in advance so they can come. Take into consideration what kind of menu you’re going to have. If you need to get catering or a bartender, make sure you book it enough time in advance. If people are going to be drinking, you might want to think about hiring a limo or some friends to take them back to their houses. You do not want them to be out driving drunk.

More and more parties are being combined to include both the Groom and the Bride. Bachelor parties can be uncomfortable to talk about with a Bride, especially if she doesn’t think strippers qualify as legitimate entertainment. If the Groom wants to hold a party with his Bride-to-be, don’t get mad. All that means is that the girls there are the friends of the Bride, as opposed to topless waitresses.

So the big day is getting close. Make sure to get lots of rest, because it will most likely be a long day. However, you hold a very special part in it. You are there to support the Groom and help him undergo a very special part of his life. You might want to consider bringing some tissues. If you won’t need them, I can guarantee you someone else will. Take pride in your important role. The Groom chose you out of everyone he knows to help with his wedding, one of the most memorable and important parts of his life.

Remember to be genuine when you’re performing your best man speeches. This speech is the opportunity to show the Groom how much you value his friendship and that you wish him a long, beautiful life with his new Bride. Get up there and be natural and, who knows, maybe have a little fun. Your main priority is just to share with the audience the relationship you hold with the Groom, as well as speaking for the audience when you toast the couple and wish them well. Even if you mess up a little, the audience will appreciate all the effort you’ve put into writing your best man wedding speech. People stumble on speeches all the time, and there are people who are even more terrified of public speaking than you are. You’ve practiced and you’re ready, so go give an awesome speech.
