Loneliness is an epidemic nowadays. Despite the incontrovertible fact that communication has never been faster, less complicated or so at hand, more people suffer with loneliness than previously. The dictionary defines loneliness, in part, as a condition of quietude or seclusion but its widely known to a lonesome person that just because you have people around does not mean you will not continue to experience loneliness. Looking for techniques of how to cope with loneliness is a pursuit of a great number, most of whom live in very active towns, trapped by people throughout their day. As reported in the USA Today, loneliness is a significant issue that result in significant results for some.

Being lonely is no respecter of persons. Married people can be just as lonely as those who are single and Hollywood movie celebs, with millions of adoring fans, when they are honest, experience terrible loneliness at times. Clearly, the key to conquering isolation isn’t just being with people or knowing lots of people. The key to beating or coping with isolation is actually connecting with another individual on a heart level. This in no way needs to be on an enchanting level, though when that occurs it creates a special connection. Nonetheless, many individuals incorrectly believe that an enchanting relationship is the ticket to a lifelong journey where isolation will not be an argument for them. As a consequence, targeting that kind of a relationship is where they put all of their time and energy, often at the expense of other possibly satisfying and suggestive relationships.

In the book Living Life Set Free it speaks about the Trinity “God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit” and their unique relationship with each other. The 3 in One are complete in each other. Never have they experienced even a twinge of isolation among them. Part of Gods hope for us, when He created us, was to delight in that same kind of intimacy with them; meaning God never meant for us to experience isolation in our lives either. His plan from the start was for us to be united with Them as They are One, i.e. connecting with Them on a heart level, leaving no room for empty desires or hurting hearts.

That changed, though, when Adam and Eve disobeyed God in the Garden of Eden, separating all mankind from God, leading to a undeniable ache and isolation in our lives till we are reconciled to Him. Jesus came to earth to dwell and then die as the perfect, sinless sacrifice on our behalf so that we might have that reconciliation.

Therefore, knowing God and building a relationship with Him through Jesus put an end point to all your loneliness? No, not absolutely; not until you are really at home with Him in Heaven forever will you be freed from all loneliness. But after you become His and give yourself to Him, He will start to show you the great plans He has for your life. Those plans, God guarantees, are full of excitement, relationships, and wonderful openings to get involved in the lives of individuals. The greatest way; “How to cope with loneliness” is to live life God’s way, connecting with Him. Trying to do it another way will only lead to discontentment and more isolation.
